Such thing as a £200-£250 ($260-$330) 4K monitor?

KSKGAMETV

i have seen a few monitors that are around £200-£250 ($260-$330) 60hz (perfectly fine for me) 28 inch, but unsure if they would perform!

If that is the monitor I have seen in real life, it makes sense it's this price; since it has got a pretty horrible TN panel (horrible in color and viewing angles).

But your mileage may vary; perhaps you do like its panel.

I was using an Acer 4K GSync monitor until recently as I've moved to 1440p 165Hz.

From my experience with them, they're okay. Depends what you're using it for though. They won't be good enough for work where colour accuracy is super important, but for general use and gaming, they'll do fine, though for the price they won't be anything special.

Depends on what you want them for.

They are not good gaming displays and they are also not very color accurate. (usually)

But if you're just after a high pixel density for that extra bit of sharpness, then sure, there's nothing wrong with a cheap 4K display.

This is probably a lot better. It has an IPS display instead of that TN and looks much more modern:

Similar one from LG:

Another one from Philips:

And Lenovo:

(I think they might all use the same panel :p)

Thankyou this is the info i was after as internet pages do not tend to say true critiques

me and the other half are looking for one each, she will be gaming and general use etc , but i will be editing videos and recording so would prefer a better quality.

Any prices ranges for that without spending 1K ?

Since you live in the UK, you can make use of this wonderful site:

Just throw in the filters you want and see what products and prices come up.

There are also links to reviews and user reviews of shops and products listed.

For gaming, the one you linked would do okay.

For editing videos, I'd at least be looking for one with an IPS panel really. No need to spend silly money, but i'd be looking at £350 - £450 for a good one.
