Any android experts here? Help with fragments

hi, working on an app that involves that will bring up a preference fragment, though i really have no idea how to get this to show up on the screen. There really isnt much on google to explain this except a few overly complicated examples, I guess i could elaborate a little more if need be, but I just want to get this fragment to pop up and display choices.

 

Any info on this would greatly help!

I dont have really time now but i want to say something :

 

THere is not much on google ? Google has its own tutorials for android. which arent small ..

but okay..

 

Search for Lars Vogel (Vogella ) android tutorials,.. These are one of the best.
