psu tip

ok, so my psu died (corsair cx 650m), goes to waranty but will take some time and i decide buy a new and better one.
im wondering about corsair RM series, is that any good =? 

also 650W is ok or better go for 750W ? 

Ryzen 5 3600x , 16gb ram trident z neo 3600, rx 5700xt

Yes, the RMX is an excellent PSU, 10 year warranty.

 

These days I would go with a 750W for future upgrades as a 650W might be lacking in the future.

Yup. You can check the tier list for other options. Anthing in tier A or B will do nicely for you.

With the system as it is, a decent 550W PSU would be enough. But I agree that going higher might be better for the future, especially if the high power consumption of the RTX 3000 series becomes a trend.

650w is more than enough, heck 550w is for this system and the unit is indeed good.

Got a sweet deal on a 750W Seasonic Prime Gold SSR-750GD. After hours and hours of research, it looks like it's one of the best all-rounders.

prime in my country costs way more than corsair rmx doesnt worth it.
