3000 Series and PCIE Gen 3

Suka

Wondering if I need to upgrade mobo which uses PCIE gen 3. With the 3000 series using PCIE 4, will the reduced bandwidth of gen 3 cause any performance hits?

i personally dont think that there would be much of a performance difference. but honestly, who can say anything for sure unless we have the benchmarks

It will definitely be slower game loading than if you have PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage, and a CPU/Motherboard that supports it. Other than that, we can't know for sure until the card is available for actual testing.
