Being a popular gaming youtuber is extremely difficult. There are a few big guys like FrankieonPCin1080p that sort of dominate the Youtube gaming section. I can't watch the video as I'm in college, but it's more likely that it's because people are looking for videos from those that they're familiar with, rather than looking for new guys. Keep going, you might pick up some momentum. If you enjoy it, subscribers shouldn't be the main reason for it.

Here's why you're not having success:

a) You've only been doing it for 45 days, that's a very little time. Building a viewer base takes a very long time.

b ) You aren't offering the viewer any special incentive to watch your videos over anyone else's. The gaming community so so insanely saturated with countless people doing exactly what you are, the people that succeed have either started so early that they were the only ones doing it, or they are doing something different. Put yourself in the viewer's shoes, why would they watch you play Thief over someone they already know? You need to offer the viewers something, that can be: better editing than the rest, better personality than the rest, better at the game than the rest etc. etc. Also thumbnails, you need to make nice thumbnails ;)

I could go on forever and feel free to ask questions. But the basic premise is that you're simply talking over gameplay, something that a million other people are doing. You need to do something different.

Like isaeko said, youtubes pretty flooded. Most people are commited to a few different people for a certain type of content.

Who the hell cares man.?

As long as you know what he said.

Usually I'm not the biggest grammar Nazi, but come on.... How can you say 'know' instead of 'NO'???? 'No' is like the first word you learn and it's pretty much international. It's just kind of maddening because I see more and more people making that mistake.

Man, think about this. There are already gazilion of people doing the same thing on the same games like you did. You should have know this before starting your channel. You must do something more, doing the exact same thing won't get you anywhere.

Three steps to getting subs on YouTube:

1. Content - Don't just post games everyone plays because people will end up just watching other popular channels instead of the small ones.

2. Quality - Make sure you have an intro and all your videos are of the highest quality.

3. Personality - People who just play the game and occasionally comment don't get any subs you need to funny, interesting or unique.

It can be difficult having a gaming channel on YouTube because they're are so many! You really need to set yourself apart from them. Play games that are in alpha or games that no one has heard of. Also holding a game giveaway on your channel can help get viewers.

It might be because people aren't getting to your videos. If they aren't watching them, you won't gain subscribers.

I once had 150 subscribers and I got them in around a year.Now,after years of inactivity,they dropped to 120. ;_;

I used to do video editing.

It's pretty hard to get yourself noticed as a gaming channel, unless you're very original, you have a very special level of skill,or you're one of the first people who make videos about a game.

Well, there's not much incentive for people to watch your content, if they can watch TB for example. It's one of a million channels offering pretty much the same content. And my guess is you lack the boobs to get big in the current state =P

Also your accent is horrible ;P People "die" they don't "day" ;P [jjk]

Honestly if you are doing youtube to get big (which it sounds like you are) you are already doomed to fail. I am sorry but it is a harsh reality. Like other people say the main factors are 1. Quality, 2. Quantity(however quality is ALWAYS better), 3. Personality, and 4. sheer luck.

Channels that don't have all 4 simply won't succeed. Right now your desire to "get famous" basically kills the third aspect and if I am honest you don't have a lot of the first however quality can be improved with practice.

You are pretty unconvincing in that case. But either way I have nothing more to say.
