So who's still playing Diablo 3 here? Anyone planning to buy the expansion when it comes out?

Not anytime around the release date. TItanfall comes out 2 weeks before Reaper of Souls, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros comes out a week before ROS, and 10 days after ROS is Elder Scrolls Online. I have better games to play around that time. However, if I get bored one day of all the game I already have, then I MIGHT buy ROS sometime this summer where there tents to be 'drought' of game releases

I'm picking it back up since it got a major over haul since I first played it.  Will probably get the expansion also, looks to really change up the game.

Yeah, the game has had major updates. I just played D3 yesterday and the new loot system etc. is awesome! I haven't played it since end of 2012. I might pick up the expansion, the history is kinda good, and the new character looks interesting. And with the AH gone it is finally makes enjoyable, then you cant buy your way through, because many items are account bound, I think, so no trading. The legendary's I got yesterday were all account bound, and were luckily upgrades to my current gear.

it is much better now and the clan/community addition are great for chatting.

 

The expansion looks much darker than vanilla, way more similar to some old parts of D2 for the old time fans

I already prepurchased it, I'm going back in. Been playing D3 recently and its worth it to me again.

Was I the only person that liked the auction house? I stutter stepped farmed a grand in a few weeks in magic find gear with a demon hunter playing nights, just farming from gatekeeper to Asmodean with clusterarrow/bombs (big damage in horrible gear) and roll.

 

Market eventually crashed and it wasn't worth it, but I had never made money in a game before (or even tried to be honest). I thought it was the coolest thing ever. That game paid for my new computer that I was going to buy anyways. The game itself? Didn't like it much. Think I just am sick of that view game.

 

I couldn't have been the only one to make money on this game.

I liked the fact that I could have a honest and legit play to find and get things that were impossible to find for me.

I lost it at the point where I found to be spending more time browsing all the people auctions than playing the game to get levels/loot.

 

so overall I did like it, but I think this is better for the game in the long run, especially with the new loot system.

Auction house is ok. I don't understand why people are complaining about it when it's an aRPG game. If they don't want to use AH, nobody is stopping them. I don't personally like AH but I am not against it. I have the option to not use it and play the game as I want it to be played.
