I installed a new graphics card (RTX 2080 Super FE) about 2 weeks ago and it was been an absolute mess. I felt like i've done everything right as for using DDU to remove old drivers, taking the GPU out several time and checking the seating, changing out the power cable for a different in case it was a bad one and also doing a BIOS update to make sure that everything was good. Also I upgraded my memory at the same time and set it to the proper speeds since before I had it running at base default speeds. Ever since the new grapics card I have noticed that my computer no longer responds as reliably as it use to as in getting BSoD's about a numberous amount of other things ( most recent being System_Service_Exception), some of the games arent appearing as well visually as before when I had my RTX 2060 installed, computer will freeze for a moment while trying to accomplish small tasks, a few times while I was gaming everything that i had installed into a USB port would stop working put would make a connection noise whenever I remove and reinstall the USB into the port. Its becoming a very stressful situation considering I had for the most part thought that all my components would work together but it feels as if I missed some type of crucial step in the process or something. I can provide anything that would be considered usefull. Thank you :/

So you made two changes then the computer had problems, one ram and the other gpu, so this is where we should start.

Do you still have the 2060?

First try loading optimized defaults in the bios, this will clear any changes including the memory settings.

Stress test and see if this fixes the issues.

No got rid of it already since GPU's don't seem to last very long on Marketplace. I'll try using the optimized defaults. What would be the preferred stress test at this point?

Well I don't know what's causing the problem, but if the memory is the issue we will want a cpu/ram test.

Cpuz, cinebench r20, maybe prime 95

Start with cinebench, you can set how long you want the test to run, try 30 mins. I personally like to test stability with more than one software, but cinebench will do for now.

Should I go ahead and reset the values of the RAM in BIOS back to what I was running before (2933mhz) or just continue on with base speeds(2133mhz)?

Just stick with 2133, we just want to see if this fixes the problem, later we will look into increasing these speeds once we know what's going on.

Yeah it seems normal for the time being but tomorrow I’ll get to test out warzone/rocket league etc so I’ll let you know then.
