Is The D15 A Good Fan To Use For OC-ing? (or should I go for the U-12S [Of Course With Budget In Mind])

A4N0NYM0U52

I was planning to OC with my future PC and I was thinkign that the D-15 or U-12S was a good option for fan cooling for a Ryzen 7 3700X and I don't know if I'm making the best choice the fan...

i think you are confusing fan and cpu cooler because those are rather different. the U12s should do fine with a 3700x OC, though if you are more on the budget side you might want to consider the scythe fuma 2.

Okay, thanks! I was really considering the U12S but currently the price is around 250 USD so, I'm kind of skeptical. ;^-^

i'm assuming you are not in the US, either way $250 for a U12s is pretty overpriced.

Well, they're quite different, but the U12s is more than enough for a 3700x so you can go for that, though that price is a bit ridiculous, you could go with what @Oswin suggested, that is a decent cooler.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).
