I am a console player looking at getting into PC, the specs that I am looking at are:

GPU: Galax RTX 2060 Super -$649

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X -$239

RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws 16 GB (8x2) -$90

CPU Cooler: Deepcool Gamer Storm Gammaxx 400 Pro CPU Cooler -$49

PSU: Cougar GEX Gold 80+ 650w Modular Power Supply -$149

Storage: Kingston 480 GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD -$79, $99

Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50 ARGB Mid Tower Case (3 included fans) -$109

Would these specs work well for a mid-range PC? Any feedback would be much appreciated, thank you

Get 3600. XT isn't worth the extra cost. Or upgrade to a 3700X or better instead.

 

You're paying extra for RGB only on that RAM. You can get better DIMMs a lot cheaper.

 

You don't need an AIO for a 3600(XT). Get a good single tower air cooler.

I agree with Mr. Star-lord's sentiment here; you can get an equally-performing PC for cheaper by skipping RGB and such, or you can put the bucks into better parts instead.

Here is a good build for 1648.17 australian dolars. If you want more performance get a 2070 or a 2070s  and maybe more ram.

Thanks, it's not urgent but I'm not sure about the GPU because the new ones are coming out, I was thinking about going the 2060 S because it would probably be cheaper. I might wait for the new ones though

the list was just suggestions for your current list

 

waiting is probably the best choice considering your budget, you might also want to consider waiting for zen 3 and big navi which are rumored to be released near the end of this year.

ye the rtx 3060 is gonna go for 300-400~$ so you might as well wait for that
