Need help picking the right GPU

CooperMyers

I just upgraded my PC from:

CPU: Pentium G4560 -> I7-7700K

Ram: 8 GB DDR4 -> 16 GB DDR4

My current GPU is a 1060 3gb.  I want to upgrade my GPU to match my CPU and ram performance.  I would prefer to spend $400 or less.  My question is what is the best power for value that I can get for my GPU, and would you recommend me pairing a 1060 with something like a 1660 Super or should I sell my 1060 and just get a more powerful single card?  ]

I'm gonna buy my cards used on Ebay.

I can get a 1660 Super for $229 Brand New on there.  Willing to spend up to $400 if it means more performance, just don't know what to get.

1660 Super Deal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1660-SUPER-OC-Edition-6GB-GDDR6-PCI-Express-3-0-Gra/193484676212?epid=5036279263&hash=item2d0c95dc74%3Ag%3AVDUAAOSwab5eztGj&LH_BIN=1

The new price for a GTX 1660 Super (in the US)  is about 230-250 USD. No need to get it used if that's the same price.

What resolution and refresh rate is your monitor? What games do you play?

you can sell your current GPU and get a 5700xt which should be under $400, or save up a bit for the new ampere and big navi GPUs later this year.

also, rest of system specs?

yea it's a decent unit and afaik does have 2 8pin pcie connectors, you could get a 5700xt for around that price, or if you're streaming, a 2060 super should also do the job.
