Sennheiser Game One only good for gaming?

Hi, are the game one headset will be recommended for a consumer that cares about music and movies as well as gaming? or are these lack in those departments and only good for gaming?

I used them for about a year and a half and they sounded good for music and movies as well. They've got a surprisingly wide soundstage and they sound quite clear, even if they might not have as substantial of a sound when it comes to music as similarly priced non-gaming headphones.

Not that I'm an audiophile or anything, just speaking out of my fairly limited personal experience regarding headphones/headsets.

 

If you're not used to really high-end audiophile-grade headphones, the Game One will definitely be good enough for gaming, music and movies.

I haven't tried them personally, so I am speaking purely from the review I'll link at the end, because don't trust tech reviewers for audio (Hardware Canucks are pretty good, Toms/Trusted/Cnet/LTT/MKBHD/etc are not), and I can't find any audiophile reviews.

 

If you need a mic and play competitive games and really care for the soundstage (how far you perceive footsteps), then they appear to be pretty good. They should be fine for everything else (music, video), but you can get better at that price if you either sacrifice soundstage, or get open backed.
