You can use PC Part Picker to help with this: start here and filter on the left by criteria that fit your (intended) use case.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

Cheers Mate.

Just a question, what is the primary difference between B550 and X570 boards. The price jump can be quite big just curious.

B550's chipset provides 3.0 lanes but the lanes that are connected to the cpu are gen 4.

x570's chipset provides 4.0 lanes and the lanes that are connected to the cpu is gen 4 assuming you're using a zen 2 chip (which you are).

for the most part, at least for now, gen 4 is kind of useless, unless ampere benefits from it but we still do not know.

Do note that even with B550, with your 3700X you'll still get enough PCIe 4.0 lanes for the 16x slot for your graphics card and a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. @Elijahpro3

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Yea, and on some b550 boards, their pcie lanes layout allows more than one nvme drive or pcie slot to be gen 4,  like the aorus master which uses pcie switchers.
