im not sure which is better overall a xfx thic III 5700 xt or a 2070-super Fe

specifically which would be better for fps games like overwatch and valorant

if you really want a gpu now go with the rx5700xt over the 2070. I would wait for the new series of gpus to come out

I asked because "XFX Thicc III 5700XT" and "2070 Super FE" sounded oddly specific, as if they were the same or closely priced. I wouldn't want to make someone pay $300 extra for a 2070 Super because that's their local pricing - it's an important thing to know.

If you're not streaming, don't need any of the RTX specific features, don't mind potentially having to tinker with the drivers and also don't want to wait for Ampere/RDNA2 GPUs (which are coming pretty soon btw), go for the 5700XT, though I wouldn't go for the model you mentioned. I'd get an MSI Gaming X, Powercolor Red Devil, Sapphire Nitro+, Sapphire Pulse or Powercolor Red Dragon instead.
