Help Needed With Running Older Game

Hello all,

 

I recently dug up my copy of Soldner-X for pc (side scrolling shooter from aorund 2009). I tried to play it on my pc but it crashes on the title screen with the error saying my monitor does not support 60hz. My monitor is actually 240hz and so I tried setting it to 60hz but the error persists.

 

Any help would be greatky appreciated.

 

I am using a Razer Blade 15:

16gb RAM

RTX 2070

Intel 9th gen i7

With older games, its not hardware issue, its OS and drivers. So make sure you have DirextX 9c installed, run as adming, run in compatibility mode. Its made for Vista, so it should not need DOS emulation to run.
