Hey, i got some old prebuilt Acer Veriton S480G , i decided to get more ram and i bought 2x Kingstone KVR16N11/4, well the PC Does a looong beep sound until i shut the pc down, it basicly does nothing else, but when i put my old ram back it works perfectly, i tried CMOS reset but it didn't help. I heard that my MOBO doesn't support high density ram, but can i make it run some somehow ?

You probably bought the wrong type of RAM, nothing you can do

Max ram size is 8gb but it has 4 slots so in all likelihood it only supports 2gb dimms. So no you cannot make it work. Another good option for you is if you want a cheap system. Is to go on ebay, look for a second, third or fourth gen i5 full tower dell and buy that. Slap in an ssd and you have a really nice web browsing daily task machine for under 100$ easily.

It very much does matter. This pc was made when 4gb dimms were still massively expensive and for a core 2 4gb ddr2 never came out which is what they used on launch so often when making them ddr3 ready the 2gb dimm limit was just left in place. It really is as simple as take the dimm slots and divide the max ram through them then you'll know the size that will usually always work. Sometimes larger sizes work but that is rare.

i have G43T-AM4 Mobo inside of it at standard, it have DDR3 inside of it  :D

There's a max density for Core 2 processors, most DDR2 is max out at 2GB.

Some motherboard also have very small total ram capacity allowed.

You should check the manual.

Well its's sad, i was not really happy with 4gb ram. In ukraine 100$ is not so cheap tho, i thinked about getting some 3 gen I5 but as a 15 yo guy i cant really afford it here atm. Thanks for the help anyways :)

Same story core 2's were never shown 4gb ddr2 so almost nobody really bothered to update the ddr3 transition boards to support more than 2gb dimms.

Or you can change the motherboard and CPU to a newer one like i5 2500.

Those chip + mobo can be had for under $100.
