1050 TI upgrade

I want to upgrade my 1050 TI to a better card.

I was thinking about buying a 1660 TI. Is that an good choice? Do you guys have any other recommendations? My budget is around 250 - 350 euro. I'd rather not have AMD

the 1660 super performs within 5% of the 1660 ti and is usually at least 15% cheaper.

what are your CPU and PSU?

my CPU is an I5 6400 and my PSU is an CX550M

it should work fine then. I'd go for the 1660 super. only get the 1660ti if it's maximum $20 more than the 1660 super.

From what I said in another thread earlier today.

 

While the 3000 series will likely not supplant the 1600 series, they could shift pricing down and perhaps they will release a 3050 that is similar in cost but has greater performance or even just has RTX capability. Even if it was similar in performance, a 3000-series card will see longer driver support that usually increases its performance in later games compared to the 1660 super.

they usually stagger their launch dates. they start with x070 and x080, a month later the x080ti/x090, a few months later the x060 and so on. it will be a while until they release an entry-level card

Out of curiocity what would a good price be for a new 1660 or a 1070 ?

around 250 euro's for a 1660 and around 500 euro's for a 1070. thats what its listed at here, in the netherlands
