Msi A320m pro max

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

Also, on some motherboards, SOME usb 3 controllers are not initialized at boot, so a usb keyboard or mouse in a usb 3.0 port may not start and then no matter what key you press it won't be detected because the keyboard is not started.

Move the usb keyboard into a usb 2.0 port, those will almost always work.

Or, get a ps/2 keyboard, those pretty much always work.

F2 , F10 and DEL are the most common keys to enter BIOS.

Watch the videos I linked to.  It's a feature of Windows which sends you to BIOS after a restart. If the BIOS has UEFI features, Windows should be able to restart and "press the right key" to get the BIOS to open up for you. Try like it shows in the video.

Another thing... just disconnect the SATA cable from your hard drive, or remove the M.2 SSD from your motherboard.

Now you can keep rebooting the PC and pressing keys until you get the right key. Or, the bios will tell you "no operating systems found, press any key to retry or press THIS KEY to go in BIOS" ... or something like that.

You mind making this multiple sentences. This is impossible to understand in the current way it is written.

im bad at english but im trying to go bios in msi a320m pro max cant go because of no signal

No signal to monitor? Do you have a dedicated graphics card or a CPU ending with the G suffix, (as in 3200G, 2200G, 3400G, etc.). If not then you made a poor building decision by not purchasing some form of GPU. All Intel core CPUs come with an integrated GPU (unless they have the F suffix), that is not true for Ryzen. Ryzen CPUs only come with an integrated GPU if they have the G suffix.

It sounds like you can't get into BIOS bc the system has no working videol output.

Do you have GPU? and which CPU do you have?

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Have you tried to clear the CMOS by pulling the CMOS battery (a small circular battery usually on the lower half of the motherboard) out and back in?

Your UEFI firmware is saved on a chip on the motherboard, not on the HDD. You should always be able to get into BIOS even without a HDD plugged in as long as all your hardware is working and functional, and your UEFI firmware is not corrupted. I'm not going to say that your firmware is corrupted, but it is a possibility. If you do need to replace your firmware, you can download the firmware to a blank USB drive here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/A320M-A-PRO-MAX and then use a tutorial like "How to flash BIOS" to help. There may also be instructions on how to flash your BIOS in your motherboard manual.

If your power goes out during the flashing process, your motherboard is dead and is now a $100+ brick. Unplug unnecessary electronics like heaters and vacuums from any outlets in your home before you flash your motherboard. BUT DON'T flash your firmware until we have tried everything else.
