Links aren’t working for some reason.

general opinion:

Spoiler

If they’re not made by the same company and also in the same product Lin chances are not high even if the plugs look like they will fit each other.  It’s random though.  Not because they are electrically incompatible but because that’s the way manufacturers have been arranging things

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Well it says it uses a sata power cable to connect 5V 3 Pin ARGB Headers and thats what ARGB Uses and should be safe. Right?

Safe and functional are different things.

Can you recommend something that you think would be good?

My definition of good may be different from yours.  My definition is “cools the computer well, lasts a long time, is quiet, and costs less money”  you’ll notice “has pretty lights” is not in there.  Given that criteria I’m liking arctic f12 fans atm.  Cheap, long lasting , quiet, good cfm, no lights at all.

phanteck neon uses jst-sm connectors and that uses standard 2+1 pin connectors so you would need an adapter to make it work.

There will be a new low then.  When looking for a fan it’s pretty simple:

cheapest you can find where

1) The blade doesn’t have flashing problems and is a fairly decent plastic

2) the bearing will hold up for your use case

so for case fans which mount vertically, cheap ass sleeve bearing fans.

for case fans that mount horizontally, cheap ass  dual ball or modified rifle bearings.

If you want really long life, for vertical, maglev bearings.  Horizontal is the same.

Ignore brand names.  Look for numbers.   Look for cfm if you need cfm.  Static pressure if you need a minimum static pressure.  Mean service lifetime if you want longevity, noise level if you needs quiet.

the problem with specs is they seem to lie about it. max cfm, Static pressure, db so the youtubers test it to see what apples to apples you get. but the problem with that is every pc ambient temp is going to be different. same with Static pressure and what rad was used. and your right they don't talk about the barrings and what is best for what ( i found that out when you have like 38 fans in a pc....any way

i got some bequiet silenwings 2 fans and they clame can last 23 years... the mounting is so bad i stopped using them as it was a pain to mount and there bran new....

i used for the push  corsair hd fans for the bling and darkside gentle typhoons for the pull with an riser.

They do lie sort of.  They fudge testing.  It’s kind of like the intel/AMD thing. They can’t both be fastest.  What they can do is be faster at different things.  There’s also sort of a limit to how much they can fudge.  Number values are not to be trusted.  Number existence can be useful though.

So if you have a fan that is proud of its static pressure it will have static pressure numbers listed.  It might not be the beat static pressure, but it will likely be useable as a static pressure fan.  Remember the end attempt is low cost here, not highest in class numbers.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

ya i remember the argument  gentle typhoons vs yatloons fans $25 vs $4 for rad fans. funny for some reason ncix had this sale on $4 for gelid silent 12 pwn fans my dad got 12 of em and he still using it to this day. i have a few left sold some kinda regret that but hand zero problems with them. back in the day it be nuts to spend $25 a fan and now we can spend $40+ i guess you got to take in to inflation thow witch pity much dubbed in price...
