so i should go with ryzen 7 or 5 i want to game and use cad and stream

Well we need a solid budget to stick to otherwise the price will keep going up.

Its like saying should i get a ford or a Ferrari. The ferrari of course is much faster and more expensive by quite a lot but it depends on your budget.

Ok, I have come up with a list which I think would be great.

If you can wait a few weeks for Ryzen 4000 and Nvidia's 30 Series to release, then I would highly recommend. If you can wait until then, change out the cpu to the Ryzen 5 4600 (assuming it will be called that) and RTX 3060 or 3070. These will be quite a bit faster than the current gen stuff.

If you can't wait, then a Ryzen 5 3600 is still plenty for gaming and streaming and some CAD work and the RTX 2070 will be good too. The 3700x is not necessary here.

I have chosen a B550 motherboard as that will be compatible with Ryzen 4000 series out of the box and probably the next gen after that.

ok i will stick with the 3600

what about the Nvidia 3000 series price

When the ryzen 4000 comes out, the 3600 should come down in price 20-30$. Unless they raise the price, the rtx 3060 should be $349, and the 2070 $449-499. the 3060 will be about the same as the current 2070 super so that would be the one i would pick. If you want you could go with the 3070 depending on the price.

ok thank you

Some of the new Nvidia graphics cards launched yesturday. The rtx 3070, 3080 and 3090. The 3070 costs $499 and is 2x faster than the 2080ti! That would be a great card if you can afford it, but i am not sure if it fits into your budget. If so, you might want to wait for the rtx 3060 to be unveiled.
