X470 Ram OC

Hey guys 

 

I recently upgraded to a 3700x from a 2700 and kept the Asus X470 prime mobo. Before i put the 3700x in i was able to hit 3200mhz @1.35v with my ram and with the 3700x i can only hit 3000 @1.35v. Do you guys have any tips and suggestions for me, any would be appreciated.

Naybe try clear CMOS? Possible that old memory training data is somehow stuck in the BIOS

Clear the cmos and then check. 

Also try playing around with the soc voltage and set it to 1.1 and then check.

Nope, just set it to 1.1 and then try.

you could try 1.15, also make sure they're in slot 2 and 4. 

you could also try setting the FCLK to 1600 manually (though it usually does that manually.).

mayby try to set the ram voltage higher. 1.38V? 1.4V (mayvy a tad high but worth the try atleast)

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
