4x4 for Quad Channel RAM, if you want it faster, OC in the BiOS. I chose reference cards because they are nicer looking, and for 2x GPU setups they are better for temperature. The Dark Rock Pro 3 will be dead silent and cool. The 4820K is the same as the 4770K, but it is X79 allowing for Quad Channel RAM. SSD for OS and everything else on the HDD plus you can reuse your old HDD for even more storage. Hope I helped
