TV Mount help

Tran

I don't know anything about TV mounts but I plan on installing one for my TV, I have a Sanyo DP42d24 (42 Inch) and was wondering if the TV mount I found would be compatible.

https://www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Motion-Bracket-Swivel-Extends/dp/B07K6CQGSV/ref=sr_1_6?crid=PHJOBPM9AAPY&dchild=1&keywords=wall+mount+200x200&qid=1597010686&sprefix=wall+mount+200+%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-6

Any other TV mount suggestion would be awesome!

That should work yes, your TV requires a VESA 200x200 mount and that's what that is.  Either the TV, and/or the mount, should include the required M6 screws.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Buying one from amazon you could buy both.  Seems there are “tv mounting kits” with bunches of screws in varying lengths and sizes along with washers.  Maybe don’t open it and see if they come with the mount first so you can return it if you don’t use it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Look up the TVs manual online. Maybe it will provide you with screw size. But in my experience many mounts come with screws.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
