Should work okay for the most part, even at 1080p. An overclock on the CPU will certainly help, but not with that cooler.

I'd suggest you wait a couple more months though for Ampere and RDNA2 GPUs to come out.

why ampere and RDNA2 gpu's ?

They're Nvidia's and respectively AMD's next-gen GPU architectures, so basically new RTX 3000(?) and RX 6000(?) series GPUs.

there's always a bottleneck, in a certain workload, it's cpu bottle necked and others are gpu.

but in a sense that the 7700k will slow down the 2070 super, then it should be fine.

though what gpu do you have now? and can you wait for ampere and big navi?

because they are right around the corner and will supposedly bring huge performance improvements.

i mean without bottleneck ?

depends on the specific gpu, but we don't and can't know, though the 7700k should be fine, especially if the workload doesn't require more than 4c/8t.

so more core more performance ,

Not exactly sure what you mean by that.

But depends on what GPU we're talking about. But for the most part, the 7700k should be fine paired with an ampere or a big Navi GPU.

does those gpus support for i7 7700k ? i mean without bottleneck ?

that still a very good gaming cpu.

especially if you overclock it above 4.7ghz, its still a beast even with those 4c/8t.

you can aim for a 3070 and a cpu upgrade to a 8700k. maybe even a 9700k? not sure it older z270 boards support it but you can check
