Disable all overclocks and things like MCE (multi core enhancement), run memory at non-XMP speeds and try again. If it's stable, enable XMP and try again. If it's stable, leave the system as is :)

Do that as well. Especially when you come from a much older patform with possibly conflicting drivers for chipset and other important components, it's best to start fresh.

Doing a fresh windows install is strongly recommended when you change out the bulk of your components because there are driver leftovers and many potential conflicts.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

How do I reinstall windows. Will I need to buy a new copy?

If you already have a copy of windows, you can use the same key. You just have to deactivate Windows on the current install and get the current version of windows on a USB drive. (Just follow the guide on microsoft.com) During the new installation you can just re-enter your Windows 10 key and it's activated again. There are also plenty of tutorials on YouTube for this.

Just remember to deactivate Windows first on your current install before completely wiping your system. Each key can only be activated on 1 pc at a time.

No. If Windows is activated now, then it will automatically recognize your hardware and reactivate with a clean install. Is Windows activated?
