What cpu should she get?

Go to solution Solved by Stahlmann,

In 99% of usecases (like yours) i'd just get a r5 3600. It will easily handle everything you mentioned while not breaking the bank. The perfect allrounder CPU these days.

System use : editing videos for YouTube, playing triple a games, watch alot of YouTube videos, Zooming with friends, streaming, reddit, web browsing.

Games : left for dead (1,2,3) , dark souls (1,2),halo remastered master collection, Battlefield V, Assassin's creed collection, FNAF collection, racing games (too many for me to name), FPS games (too many for me to name),

What CPU/APU should she go for?

Silent Cerberus - Fractal Design Core500,Ryzen R7 3700x,Scythe Fuma 2,Gigabyte Aorus B550i Pro AX,Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200mhz cl16 16gb,Adata XPG SX8200 nvme 512gb m.2 ssd,Lexar NS100 1tb ssd,Red Dragon RX5700 8gb(bio flashed 5700xt),Corsair SF600 SFX 600w 80+ platinum F-Modular.

Hades - dO.Ob Look into my eyes and see the dark eternal abyss that is your soul and pay for your hidden sins.

Cerberus - the hell hound that guards the gates of hell. Once you enter you'll never escape.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

She's fine with AMD or Intel anything goes as long not the 9900k to expensive.

Either a RTX 2060 or 2070 super because of her streaming

*(I pick AMD Intel is evil....)

3600 is the best pick, will handle all tasks fine. If they can afford it, pick up a 3700x or even better, wait for Zen3.

Then budget?

I mean a 3600/10600k would do the job in this case.

They're good for gaming and some. Multi threaded tasks.

Though obviously if you're going with an Intel cpu I would avoid locked chips and b and h series boards. So that would be more expensive but both of these are more then enough for these tasks.

Or you could wait for zen 3 and check what it has to offer.

Yeah I told her to wait but she said *and I quote "amd hasn't even given a release date so...yeah No thanks "

I'm thinking 3600 then get her the better gpu *(2070 super)

It'll work just fine. It and the 10600k will do the job.
