Looking for the best Wireless Mouse for a G400 user

Hello guys,

I've been using a G400 and G400s for a long time. But recently switched to a G305 because the scrollwheel on the 400s was going bad. But now that I'm home all the time, my wrist is aching and I think it's the size and shape of the G305 that is at fault here. I've been using it for a year and I never got used to it, haven't found a way to grip it correctly without feeling wrist pain after a while.

I really love that it's wireless and that I threw in a Lithium AA battery in it and forgot about it, but it's not doing me great for most of the time.

So I'm looking for a Wireless Mouse that is comfortable and has a similar size/shape to the MX518/G400 (Where's the MX518 Lightspeed, Logitech?).

The ones I think will fit me better are the G604, G703 and G502, the latter one being the most expensive. I've heard some bad things about the G604, specially about the skates and the wheel.

I spend most of my time doing work, using Blender and Photoshop (I use a Wacom tablet on it) and I'm a casual gamer (RPGs and FPS with friends sometimes), so I don't think I'll notice a difference in weight (unless it's a really chunky mouse) or sensor performance too much, I'll still be pretty bad regardless.

agree on this part

if you are just a casual gaming then something like the MX master 3/2s may fit you well, doesnt have the best report rate in the world but its plenty fast for casual users.

There is always the Pwnage Ultra Custom, as cringey as the name is, it is a nice mouse. It feels solid but lightweight still, wireless feels great, and it is rechargeable with usb-c. For 90 USD it is a steal. I have had it for a month and no complaints. The battery life is also nice. It is the same shape as ec2-b so it is smaller than mx518, but is an ergo shape. I worked on an office that had a MX Performance, I didn't really enjoyed it that much, I was too large for me I think, and I don't need that many buttons, the 2 thumb buttons do the job for me. I believe the MX Master is a evolution of the MX Performance, right?

Also the MX Master 3 is preeeetty expensive in my country, so I think I prefer getting a G502 instead, even though I despise the gamery looks.

Yeah, the name is pretty cringy hahaha

I looks really nice, but it's not available in my country (Brazil). For wireless mouses I'm stuck with Logitech, Razer and Corsair :/

That's a pretty helpful site, thanks!

what about the mx master 2s? the G502 is pretty solid, though if you want something wireless with a similar shape you can check out the razer basilisk x hyperspeed.

The MX Master 2s is out of stock everywhere already :( What do you think about the G703? It's cheaper than the G502 here

are you talking about the G502 lightspeed or HERO? the G703 being cheaper than the regular wired G502 doesnt make much sense. either way the G703 is still a solid pick.

The Lightspeed one, I'm only looking at wireless mouses right now. I guess I will only know the best one trying them. I'll probably go for the G703, since it's cheaper, or the G603 if I can find one, because I like that it uses AA batteries instead of a built in rechargeable battery.

i see, trying them out is indeed the best way to find out, given if its possible.

the internal battery shouldn't be much of a problem though, i own the g502 lightspeed and the battery last for about 2 weeks of moderate to heavy usage.
