Static speaker noise when PC is turned off

My speakers have a loud buzzing noise that only appears when my PC is turned off. I know it is from the PC because when I disconnect the wires(it's 5.1 ) the noise stops. I have Logitech Z506 speakers, which also have a bluetooth adapter connected to them. I'm using the onboard sound - and my PC is in the specs. Oh and I can't just turn them off, because I use them with my Venue 8 Pro and Ipod. Any ideas what causing it? I've read in a few places that it might be caused by static electricity....

Static is everywhere, almost every speaker system has static when plugged in and turned on. Thing that could solve this is external sound card away from the pc, possibly.

It's probably your psu causing this if it does that when system is off. My speakers do the same thing I just got used to it  :lol:

But I'm talking about a loud noise...and with one of the speakers just beside my ear....

How would I ground it?

The little metal tabs on the back of i/o shield, make sure they are all pushed inwards inside the case and touching the USB ports etc on the mobo.

go buy one of those thiing that gos on the end of a cable than cancels of noise. i forgot what they are called they go for $3 at Canada computers. it like one of the cylinder magnetic things.
