So here's the deal:

Fresh 2-day old Windows 10 installation on an SSD. Also got a linux installation on a different SSD. Thankfully I keep most of my files and games on other HDDs.

I wanted to use bluestacks, so I needed to enable virtualization. I have a ryzen 3 2200G (other specs not that relevant: 12GB RAM, RX 580).

I go to BIOS, enable SVM. PC will not boot, hangs on windows loading for ages and ages. Fine, to hell with it, I disabled SVM. Actually I reset BIOS later on too. But now Windows refuses to work properly. It will take around 20 minutes to boot, always saying something about repairing a drive (Scanning and repairing drive (D:): 100% complete) (it is always at 100% and also D is not the installation drive) or just loading. It will take 20 minutes to do a restart, and the shut down option just straight up does't work so I use the power button.

Now the only logical thing to do is to use the installation media to do a repair or re-install. However, using the exact same installation media that worked perfectly fine when I first installed windows, it will now refuse to work and hangs on a blue screen with a movable cursor.

Meanwhile, the Linux installation on the other drive works perfectly well.

Seriously any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Reset CMOS again. Wipe the drive using the linux boot OS, or another bootable pen drive OS like Gparted (disconnect power or data on the other drive just to be safe)... and then re-install windows (using a different pen drive if possible).
