Computer random freeze after changing ram. HELP

So i have i5 8600k and gigabyte z370m d3h mobo. Previously i was using corsair vengeance 2400mhz ram. I upgraded to trident z rgb 3600mhz. Enabled xmp and set voltage to 1.35v. now my pc in the past 2 days had 2 random freezes amd i had to restart manually. Whats the issue? Please help.

that really depends, some ram just cant run at rated speeds with just 1.35v or may be unstable. For example I have a kit of Trident Z RGB 2x16GB 3000C16 which will run with 1.35v on some systems but on one system will only be stable with 1.4v. And I have other kits which are fine running at the rated 1.35v in the same system. 1.38V is fine, and realistically "in the long run" probably means like 10 years down the road.

I was just going to ask u.. that if on the box its written it is 1.35v.. why on auto voltage setting its consuming 1.38v?

god knows why... but 1.38v will not damage your hardware i any way and may just solve all your crashing issues...

Whoever told you that doesn’t know what they are talking about. B-Die is fine up to 1.5v with some airflow, and other furs are fine up to 1.45v.

Have you got 2 sticks or 4? It's entirely possible that the 8600k IMC won't play ball with RAM at that speed with all four channels occupied.
