Yesterday I was playing a game when my pc crashed, or I thought so. After a bit and the pc wouldn't show any sign of life, I tried turning it on. Nothing happened so I tried removing the cable, turning off the psu, and even got my friend to try and help me. Nothing seemed to work, so I brought it to my friends dad who built it for us. We tested the psu, and that wasn't the problem. We figured that I must have overclocked or overused the pc. For some further info, I was running an extremely inconsistent fps of about mid - high 100 to low 200 with max settings on valorant.

SPECS:

CX750M PSU

GTX780 Ti

16gb RAM

240 gb hard drive

ASUS z97 - ar motherboard

i7 4790k.

Windows 10.

some cooler master cpu cooler.

Is there some sort of fix that doesn't involve spending money or do I have to replace the motherboard and the cpu? I was thinking about getting new parts anyways.

If there is anything else you need to know just ask and I will try my best to answer your questions. thanks.
