I had this problem before but somehow maneged to fix it, where 1 out of 3 ram slots (the middle one) doesent work. All the ram sticks are ok but when I put a ram stick in the middle slot it would restart the pc 2 times and then boot, but when I remove it it boot fine with two other ram sticks.

This happened today when I accidentally kicked my pc (it was not a hard kick, I just tripped over it).

This happened before but I maneged to fix it. I also tried resetting bios (cmos).

12gb ram

3 sticks (4gb) all working fine

Clear the cmos.

Then try with one stick at a time in every slot.

Specs?  And does dual channel work?

I already did

All the ram sticks work fine, I putted 1 ram stick in the first slot and the secound in the 3th slot and they work and boot fine as 8gb. I tested every stick on the first and third slot and they all work fine (i have 3 sticks of 4gb)only the 2nd slot doesent work and for some reason the ram stick in it gets warm like its working.

Like I sead in the post when I put all three stick in, the pc restart 2 times and then boots, but when I remove the ram from the 2nd slot it boots fine (I had this problem a month ago and I managed to fix it.

As I said above.

Try running dual channel. In slot 2 and 4 and check.

Also check the second dimm on the board for any bent pins.

No. I mean. What did you exactly do to "fix" it?

And as I said above.  Try dual channel. So slot 2 and 4 and check.

Re seat the cpu. And clear the cmos one more time. Also Inspect the socket for any bent pins.

I just re sitted the ram like 30 times trying to make a combination, and finally when I gave up it showed 12gb.

Ive already tryed placing it on 2nd slot and the 3th, and it only reads the 3th
