DP CABLE wont work with the vcard im using 144 hz monitor

DP cable included in my 144 hz monitor wont work it always show no signal 

 

is there something wrong in my monitor or just the cable ? im using hdmi right now but i cant 144 hz so im  trying to use dp but it is not showing always no signal

Does your graphics card have multiple DP?
If yes, try another one. Maybe only the one for the first monitor is active at the moment.

i have 3 DP and 1 HDMI i have tried 3 different dp it always says no signal i tried to  off my pc  and turn off my monitor again and again

I had a a similar problem when I connected my monitor for the first time.
I put the cable in a different DP from the graphics card. My monitor was on or standby, but not off. When I started my PC, It worked.

 

My monitor found the DP source automatically.

Maybe change your monitors source manually to the DP.

For systematic troubleshooting you can try using a different cable, a different monitor, a different pc to make sure every comonent works or see which doesn't.

i got like 2 hdmi it works just the dp wont work its acutally like brand new i never use it until i bought my new vcard to make dp  cable work  should i leave it connected ??
