great i have 1660ti

it should be fine fow now wait for ampere and big navi, for now the 1660 ti even for light 4k, it should do the job.

I mean, it depends on the game. Medium 4K in Modern Warfare is not even close to Medium 4K in RDR2.

And it also depends on what's playable to you, as in whether you're looking to just hit 30FPS or 60+.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

yea, even a 5700xt/2070 super are more than enough in that case. you could also wait for ampere and big navi.

4K for Esports sounds like a pretty odd choice.

In light games like CS:GO and Overwatch you'll be fine with even a 1660, but others like Apex will require you to drop the video settings significantly, and something like a 2070S/5700XT would be ideal.
