Is there a laptop brand that makes allows you to customize the specs more than Dell, Asus, etc. Saw one on the TekSyndicate forums, but they only ran Ubuntu and it has to be Windows

Damit, you beat me to it. 

 

Most, if not all Sager laptops are originaly made by Clevo and then "re branded"
