Possible to bring 650w psu on plane?

Hello,

I'm wondering if its possible to bring a psu on a plane? I'm in Australia and i cant seem to find any information about it.

Safe? yes. I wouldn't want to go through airport security with it. 

 

 

according to the TSA, yes but you can always double check, ask them on twitter using AskTSA.

Yes.

 

You just need to take them out of whatever packaging so they can make sure it's not a bomb.  Because, under x-ray, they look like bombs.

I would say you could, but it depends where you are flying to as well. If you have checked in luggage, you would be safer to put in that as it would be very unlikely they would stop you. I found this website to help you. www.homeaffairs.gov.au/travelsecure

When I last flew I had the opportunity to declare any risky cargo. Whenever it pops up to mention you have computer parts, make sure they know.
