Theoretical upgrade question

Question. If you had the money, would you upgrade from a RX 5700XT to a RTX 2080 super?

I wouldn't, the price to performance wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. If you really want to upgrade from the 5700XT wait until Big Navi and Ampere release in September and see if any of the new cards peak your interest.

Not right now. I would wait until the next generation of graphics cards, which is exactly what I am doing with my GTX 1080.

This. Wait for a 3070 ti or 3080.

 

At least you will have competent RTX instead of the tech demo we got with first generation/refresh RTX cards.
