Go to solution Solved by Guilherme Gigante,

Hi! I have an Huawei Mate 10 Lite (RNE-L21) and I´m looking for a system update. I currently have the Android/EMUI 8.0 and I want to upgrade to the 9 or 10, if possible. Can anyone help me? Thanks :)

I used to own that phone and Android updates stop at Android 8 for this phone since it's pretty old considering you get new phones every few months from Samsung and Huawei. If you want to experience Android 10 on the cheap I recommend a Samsung A71, it's pretty cheap and gets you Android 10 out of the box if you want to spend a little more on a flagship you can get a Note 10 or S20 if you really have the money for it

In short, you can't just update to whatever version of Android you want. The manufacturer has to release an update for your particular phone model. Depending on the manufacturer and phone, you usually get one full version bump or maybe two if you're really lucky before the phone is stuck, but again, that's entirely up to the manufacturer.

It's possible, if you unlock the bootloader, that you might be able to flash vanilla Android, but there's no guarantee that your phone will function correctly in part or total. In either case, you need to know what you're doing.

That's probably the latest Android you get for your Model. Just check System updates. If nothing new (and the last one is many months behind), you won't get any updates anymore. it's too old.

And you can forget Custom Roms. Huawei is really bad for that.

Live with it, or buy a new phone. That's all you can do.
