Where did you find that scythe SSD adapter? I have a pair that i got years go but havnt seen any since Scythe USA closed down. Nice Plextor mSATA SSD BTW. ;)

Also where did yo get the AC power cord ends they look so nice!

Power cords ends were sent to me from Gdesmo a friend on another forum I have 4 sets now in different colors

I'm really happy the way it turned out and bent another acrylic piece as a cover for the switches B)

 

So tonights project was sleeve the case feet :wacko:

@Father Fuzzy thanks I still have two of those Scythe 2.5in adapters and they are the most quality ones that I have ever found. So its good to know where i can go to get more. They used to have 3.5in HDD ones but I think those have been long discontinued.

Damn those cables look expensive. I have some USB cables like that i can only imagine how much it is for larger ones and audio ones, especially if their "audiophile grade".

 in the pic I set a led to the plugs 

 

I did try to get them wired into the ends from a existing power end I was after the resistor

Broke when I got to the end of removing it

I was able to do the melting of the sleeve without a lighter and having better control of the heat

I needed to make a couple custom cables for the sata power runs on the funky acrylic hard drive holder :wacko:

 

It was quite a frustrating cable to make :angry:

Amazing pics as always man. I havnt taken any pics of my build recently because I havnt had the parts or time to finish. Yours definitely go after the beauty rather than whats been done like mine. Im amazed sometimes at what you pull off.

tested out the remote control unit works sweet on lighting

sleeved the antenna line hope it still works

 cut the wires and crimped to molex and Darkside sleeved it

Didnt use the right blade for the first hour or so but amazed I pulled off some of these cuts in 1/8 plexi
