isn't 1gb ram the minimum requirement for windows 7?

Technically it is, but you can bypass that. Just install Windows and then take some RAM out. I think there is still a minimum of 256mb.

give me a good windows 7 system that uses only 500 mb of ram or less the less the better

Why is less better. Is there some program you are trying to run, or just experimenting. Why not use a VM

I dont know why you would want to do it except for maybe VM reasons.

however there used to be something called N-Lite that would strip win xp and i believe win7 down alot.

the draw back however was if you stripped to much out, it would be useless anyway.

current main system: as of 1st Jan 2023

motherboard : Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

ram : 16Gig Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz

OS :multi-boot

Video Card : RX 550 4 GIG

Monitor: BENQ 21 inch

"NLite" for XP
"NTLite" for W7-W10+

Use it myself (paid). Excellent tool.

Would have to be 32-bit edition @highrusher, and some serious tweaking. Some context would help, what are you trying to achieve?

If that's the core 2 duo system you talked about in another post. Then you won't be playing any games on it anyways. The integrated gpu is extremely weak and struggle to even play games from the 90s.

Any link? In core2duo era motherboards had sometimes integrated gpu, but not processors itself.

Fair enough I used the wrong term instead of integrated graphics I should have used on board graphics for all those intel gma, nvidia 6100s, amd hd 3000 and whatever else kinda stuff they threw on there :p.
