Can newer motherboards harm other parts.

I ordered a GIGABYTE X570 UD  for 160 on Newegg. When I ordered it, it had 4 "eggs" or whatever their review system is. now it's down to 3.

I tried issuing a claim to get a refund, since the label was created but hadn't shipped for a couple days, they said it'd take 3-5 days to see whether or not they
can get me a refund, but then shipped it anyway that same day.

So to my actual question, if I just got a warranty and put up with maybe having a board that just stops working sometimes would that hurt my other components?

To give more clarification for anyone interested, the reason I didnt go with the B450 series is because I've heard that its about 50/50 chance for Ryzen 5 3600 series, which is what I have, to even work with those motherboards.
That could be not true, but I'm not sure anymore. I wish it wasn't this complicated.Other than that I really don't want to go even more expensive with the high end x570's but will if what I plan to do is a bad idea.

EDIT: the concern is coming from the fact that the newer reviews are going on about the board sometimes just dying on them or straight up DOA

what is this mis information here?

do not refund anything based on reviews firstly. its not the best x570 board but it is better than most b450 boards.

You cant really break the motherboard if you have decent psu and you dotn wreck it up.

I might as well be new to this since the last time I built a PC, it was back in 2013. A lot has change I feel like. I knew nothing about the x570 or the B450 boards until I started digging around Reddit and looking at reviews for the B450. I guess I should have done more digging if they already patched it.
