G502 vs MX Master 3

Hackentosher

Hey all, I've been using a G502 for a while now and it's a great mouse, but I've always found it's a little small for my palm grip. I find it's a little narrow and a little short for my hands, so I was hoping I could get some insight on whether I should switch. I don't play many games these days, so I mostly need something comfortable for extended CAD sessions and web browsing. Generally I just want a more comfortable mouse, I don't care about ultimate latency performance I just need something I can use for long periods without cramps. That, and basic buttons like forward, back, middle click, and left-right on the scroll wheel. Thanks!

I've heard excellent things about the MX Master 3 with the only gripe being the less than gaming grade sensor.  With that said, I know someone who games at a very high level with one just fine, and considering it's not your top priority anyway, I think it would be a good fit.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

The MX master is great if you are going to do more productivity than gaming as it is more ergonomic and comfortable to palm. it is still pretty capable for casual gaming once in a while.

That settles it, time to pick one up!
