Can't tab into fullscreen games.

Hi,

 

I recently started having an issue where I can't tab into fullscreen games. So far I've tested in Minecraft, MCC, CSGO, and Borderlands 3. In the case of CSGO, if I go fullscreen from the main menu, and tab in instantly, I can tab in. But if I tab out, I can not get back in. When I try to, my screen goes black for a second, then does not connect. In this case of Halo, I can still use the menu, I just can't see anything, and I can go into fullscreen in game, but my crosshair/ mouse flicker.

Not sure what I did would cause this. This has been happening on and off for about 2 weeks.

I've had this issue in the past with a couple games, and while I don't know a fix, I have found that going all the way through the tab menu (alternatively, alt+tab then alt+shift+tab) and selecting the game again will often work after a few tries.

Having the same problem since a few days too, did you try to update to windows 11 too? I think that this issue started occurring when I tried to setup my pc for windows 11.

Dafuq what is going on??? No windows 11, but started happening all of the sudden. I tried reinstall GPU drivers nothing, also I have no corruption, or errors..,

Same man, no idea why it keeps happening, There is a temporary fix for it though. Just play ur games in fullscreen-windowed for the time being untill we have a solution.

Windowed cause huge lag and on current drivers: MPO overlay in borderless mode is broken 😞

 

BTW isn't it fun bugs every day, microsoft has billions but that they would fix bugs no... Cancer I have so many bugs every time, it is annoying as fuck! While no system corruption... Can't even do anything but solve bugs...
