B450 Aorus M + RAM

Hello guys, I recently bought an B450 Aorus M and I want to pair it with ToughRAM Z-One Memory 8x2 3200 but it's not qualified on QVM of B450 Aorus M, anyworkaround that I can still achieve 3200 in XMP? I tried a non supported ram (Corsair RGB Vengeance Pro 3200Mhz) from their list and having some bluescreen.

2020 Build: AMD R5 3600 | AMD AORUS RX 5700 XT | AORUS B450M | 16GB Thermaltake Z-One DDR4-3200 | Samsung 970 Evo Plus | Corsair RM650 | NZXT X63 | Corsair Crystal 280x | 2x Purewings 140mm PWM

Just enable XMP as usual. If it blue screens then you will have to start adjusting voltages and timings.

Problem is I don't have any idea on how to adjust voltage and timings, can you recommend a youtube link? 😅

As I said, 99% of the time you won’t have to.

If it does happen, you can create a new thread or PM me for help :).

QVL lists are vague and are technically wrong. It should work just fine.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yea it should be fine. If it wasn't you can set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35 and then gradually work your way up to the advertised speeds.

The latest version is F51f, if the new memory kit doesn't work with the XMP profile I'd first try updating the BIOS.

Make sure you put the two memory sticks in slots 2 and 4.

Well, after using my sister's Corsair RAM it happened, switched back to previous XMP settings so it will work fine. Searched online what seems to be the problem and found out that QVL of gigabyte mobo does not support my ram as well as my preferred RAM https://www.thermaltake.com/toughram-z-one-memory-ddr4-3200mhz.html. Will still buy this ram tho.
