Dual ATX case solutoin

FrigidNinja

Howdy all, haven't been on the forum in forever, how y'all doing?

Down to business, after several hours of enraged red bull fuled internet browsing, I've come up short. Looking to have two PC's with standard ATX motherboards either in the same case, or comfortably stacked, for as cheap as possible, using as little space as possible.

Best I've come up with so far is the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO, two stacked. That's a total price of about $220 before tax, and despite overlord Trump's gracious gifts, I'm still trying to do this on a budget.

Happy to do a weird server case, or odd test bench configuration, but haven't seen anything im confident in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and have an awesome day.

P.S. has anyone here built in the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO? I'd love your feedback/ personal experience/ build notes. Worth the price?

P.P.S. yes I'm a cheap bastard.

"Gracious gifts" until 2024 when the inflation hits the fan.

I was actually going to suggest that XB EVO. I haven't built in one myself, but I did buy and flip a system in one, and was amazed at how much space is in there. If you want to go really ghetto, you could get a couple of 4U chassis... :D

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

ATX? Or would ITX suffice?

If so, something like the fractal design node 202 would work. Maybe something like an SG13

Gotta do it on a budget so I can build up some bank for the economic recession. Lmao. Hoping to buy my first house when the market crashes.

I've been reluctant to go to a smaller MOBO for fear of lack of features, I enjoy tinkering and id rather not limit future options if i dont have to.

That being said im not sure if dual atx will be an option.

im assuming PCIe connectivity?, because otherwise the boards are pretty ok featurewise.

and in terms of tinkering, they usually are better at memmory overclocking.

they only have 2 dimm slots, meaning they dont have to worry about daisychain or T-top topologies for memmory
