I had issues with it. The main one was that if you cover the damn thing in RGB, I don't care how old the case you're using is, there is no question about what's inside there. When I do a sleeper, I keep the overall appearance as close to stock as possible, but maybe that's just a personal preference.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I dunno, when I was a young lad I once "decked out" a Compaq that I was given with some blue LED's behind a "hatch" on the front that hid the audio jacks to give it a neat glow, even though inside was a bone stock Centrino powered prebuilt econobox lol. Just because it's got RGB doesn't mean it's still not crap inside.

 

But I do agree that the main point of a "sleeper" is to bring no attention at all to it's exterior looks. If you do some painting or lighting, it sort of defeats the purpose...

Every series started with one episode, then two and so on. I thought it became a thing, like scrapyard wars. To be fair it feels a bit easier that scrapyard

I think they were looking for one of those 90s iMacs at some point for another sleeper, but I haven't seen anything in FP exclusives to suggest that would be possibility, nor have it been talked about in WAN Show.

I just rewatched the series on YT, would be absolutely great if they made a new sleeper when the new stuff like Zen 3 and RTX 3000 series comes out.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
