How to remove "my feed" in the new microsoft edge browser

I dont need these stupid articles on my thing and when i uncheck them it doesnt save

I've been using it for the last week or so and so far, it feels the same as Chrome other than using less RAM.

I really despise microsoft edge, I really do so, it's basically a mobile browser simulator, with ads! What I think is that the first and only thing a user does on that browser is searching for Chrome

then use firefox, it's made by neither microsoft nor google, it performs like chrome it uses less ram!

It's Chromium based though, and has the exact same feature set as Chrome. Hell, even Chrome extensions work on it.

They have a lot of transparency about being tracked and I would assume using chrome they wouldnt let you block google's own trackers? 

Google trackers have been blocked 13 times and ive been using this for an hour with like 4 tabs open

Ah, I see. I have an extension that replaces the new tab page, so I don't see it. Let me disable it and take a look.

I use full page translation too often to use Firefox. The inbuilt feature in Chrome and New Edge is too useful for me. Never found a FF extension to translate a whole page in the same way.

Right, there does seem to be a bug with removing the categories. If you remove all of them, they'll all come back. If you remove all but one, it will only have that one shown. As soon as you remove it, they all come back. Can't find any way of removing the feed entirely though. Like I said before, I use an extension to replace the new tab page, so maybe look at which of those are available

 

I do wish they would have called it something other than Edge though. If you ever search for a way to do something on New Edge, most of the articles that come up are for the original browser.

@Joshcanread Scratch that. 

 

On the new tab page, click the gear icon in the top right corner. Select custom, then select Content off from the Content: dropdown. It will remove the bottom part of the new tab page.

Yeah the new edge thing is a problem. What extension do you use? The new tab is pretty bland.
