Amazon Prime App - Using the Mouse Wheel for video seeking

I use the wheel for seeking 5 seconds, I much prefer to use mouse-only when watching video rather than reach up and use the keyboard arrows..But it seems like all video players fail to implement this feature. It's just so handy imo

I use Amazon Prime App but the controls are not customization
Their Feedback page doesn't list Amazon Prime

So how can I add mouse wheel seeking to Prime?

I would recommend using AutoHotkey or something, and then just rebinding mouse wheel up and down to the left and right arrow keys. This should be similar to what you would do.

What mouse are you using? If it has any programable buttons, you could map one of those to the arrow keys used in the app.

Then in the Logitech mouse software, you should be able to map those two extra buttons to the forward and back arrows. You might even be able to make it so they only do that when prime video is open.

Hmm the Logi software is very limited, I really wish they would add these kinds of features  Everyone uses their devices in special ways, why don't they allow us to customize?
So I think AutoHotkey is the only solution

Yeah, they are very much lacking in the logi software. The g hub and gaming software adds a lot of features but I doubt your mouse is supported in those.

Yeah such a shame, they make brilliant hardware but their software kinda sucks lol (polished but lacking in features)
