My pc will not connect to my tv please help!!

So this is my first pc and I opted for a built in graphics card with the Ryzen 5 3400G with  Radeon Vega 11 graphics, due to me not being able to afford the graphics card I wanted but even with the computer on I cannot connect it to my tv with the HDMI plugged into the motherboard. I know the tv and HDMI both work so I'm unsure, please please help.

Have you checked to make sure the cable works? What happens with the computer when you press the power button?

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Can you try different cables on different ports in the motherboard?

Thats a vga cable. The only issue I could think that you have is that the hdmi port on the back of the motherboard is defective.

I would wait and see if someone else responds with a possible fix and if not, contact the motherboard manufacturer for whatever their troubleshooting is and possible rma.
