I need help ASAP

So I recently bought an acer predator Orion 3000 with an i7 9700 cpu, obviously this is a prebuilt if you couldn’t pick it up, but point being it is at a 3.0 ghz frequency and I was wondering if there was anyway to increase that aswell as to the max I could increase it to if possible, if anybody has an answer for me or questions that would be muchos appreciated.

thanks

That's just the base clock. The CPU will boost to 4.7 GHz under load. It's technology Intel implemented about a decade ago so that the CPU won't run at its max speed all the time, chugging power and reducing its lifespan. Whenever you're doing something demanding, it should boost to 4.7 GHz provided the temperatures are safe (below 90C)

To my understanding non K CPU's cant be overclocked. So...... your probably SOL. Also like stated above, CPU's don't run at Max clock speeds all the time, the more demanding the task the more you get.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
