Old tx750 will it be okay?

IC4

So I’m upgrading my brothers pc for his birthday, he’s got a old tx (gold label) 750 from Corsair. It’s problably around 7 years old. He’s getting new parts apart from the video card. (Ryzen 3600, paired with a 1070) I honestly don’t know how well built this older power supply is and I was wondering if it would be fine with these components until Christmas for I will be replacing it for him then as a present.

"Gold label"?  What does that even mean?

What's the actual part number?  Is it CMPSU-750TX?  If so, it's a lot more than 7 years old,

Based on CWT PSH. Double forward, group regulated.  Not suitable for any PC made after 2017.

Sorry he lives in another city ,  so I don’t have a picture of the actual unit but it’s this one https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Enthusiast-Series™-TX750-V2-—-80-PLUS®-Bronze-Certified-750-Watt-High-Performance-Power-Supply/p/CMPSU-750TXV2

Ok.  So the V2.

Still pretty old, but build pretty solid.

Could use it for this build, but don't hang onto it too long.  :D
